There’s a Tweenager in the Closet!

Let’s just say I haven’t always dreamed of wearing my mom’s clothes. But, the other day, I found out what it’s like to be in her shoes – quite literally. In fact, I can fit in almost anything my mom owns now.

I hope that I surpass her in height, but for now it’s priceless to wear her clothes, walk out, and watch her freak out over me wearing her designer skirt. I mean, it’s cool that I fit in her clothes, but the real advantage is her shoes.

I can fit in my mom’s shoes.  My mom has the CUTEST shoes in the world. When I was younger, I loved her shoes so much that I would actually wear them… er, try to wear them. Let’s get one thing straight, though. I am not a shop-a-holic teen. I like to keep my fashion style to myself. Sure, I’m gonna try to wear something cute to school, but I’m not going to wear all the trendy outfits. I may have some trendy clothes, but I rarely keep up with all of the social media fads. (I don’t have social media myself, but that’s a different post.)

Anyway, I think that my mom has really cool clothes. Even if the most extensive “trendy” she has is a pair of cut-off jeans, I’mma wear ’em! Don’t get me wrong – I love my clothes. Sometimes, I like mixing our clothes together to get cute outfit/combinations that give me an interesting flair. I really wish stores had more clothes for kids. You go to Forever 21 and they have really cute clothes, but they’re all too big for me. You go to places like Abercrombie and Fitch and they have clothes that fit you, but are a little too juvenile.

Oh well, guess I’ll stick to the closets at my house!
